On 17th of February, 2016, the National Center for Research and Development announced that the joint project of the Consortium of Patentus SA (Project Leader) together with the Warsaw University of Technology, the Institute of Sustainable Technologies in Radom and the company NanoStal sp.z o.o. "Development of an innovative technology for the production of toothed elements with hybrid surface layers with a nano-structured base for conveyor drive units intended for operation in extreme operating conditions". We are especially pleased to inform you that the project has been classified on the 1st place in the ranking list of the Smart Growth Operational Program, measure 4.1.4 recommended for financing.

The aim of the project is to design and produce - so far not having their equivalent in technology - planetary toothed gears of very high power for drive units of mining conveyors, with unique features, predestining them to work in difficult operating conditions, due to the size and dynamics of loads, high and low (down to -35 ° C) temperatures and pollution. The project will use the latest achievements in the field of material technologies and tribology, enabling the achievement of the best operational properties of toothed gears.
